Surprisingly good!
We showed up at 7:30 on a Friday and there was NO ONE THERE. I'm not sure why, because this was great sushi!
From the miso soup all the way to the end, everything was very well prepared... piping hot and fresh warm dishes, and crisp and fresh cool dishes.
The teriyaki here is really flavourful, with a lot of smokiness and depth.
Gyoza are lightly wrapped and delicious.
The specialy rolls have sauces that are a little unique from your average... maybe a little sweeter? But they work. -

Great food and service.
Chicken karage with special sauce was phenomenal.

We've been going here for years. Their food is always fresh and real tasty. I love their rolls, and their spicy salmon sashimi.
They've always had good service, but now that we have kids, we appreciate how attentive they are even more (ice for their miso soup so it isn't too hot, less spring onion or none at all). They're also really patient with the mess the kids create. -

Decided to drop by this local sushi restaurant in my neighbourhood, when I first arrived I noticed that it was quite busy, got seated right away but had to wait about 5-10 minutes to get a menu. There was only 1 waitress and about 2-3 kitchen staff that I could see. Waited about 20 minutes for our food which is typical but overall wasn't that impressed with the special rolls they had. The waitress was a bit rude for no reason as well. Don't think I'll be coming back here unless it's a last resort.

Craving sushi today and came across this little establishment. Was a little hesitant after reading someone else review about food being "inedible" but I thought what the hell. Place is small yet clean, service was accommodating, and the food came quick and was really quite good. I wouldn't say it was the absolute best to die for sushi around, but overall, I would return.
Also wanted to mention that I came near closing, and was worried that the owners would be giving me the evil eye, however I didn't get that vibe at all. Thanks!
